In loving memory ~
It is with profound sadness that we are announcing the loss of our dear Wayne.
Wayne left us on the morning of June 9th after a short but courageous battle with Cancer. Wayne was predeceased by his parents Leigh, and Violet, his sister Dawn, Brother Alan, and brother-in-law Paddy. Missed dearly but never forgotten, Wayne will be remembered by his Daughter Tannis Lee, his Sisters Kathy, and Peggy (Tom), his brother Ken (Juanita), and his “partner in crime” Sue. Wayne also leaves behind numerous Nieces and Nephews, and a huge list of friends.
Wayne lived his life his way, as a hardworking, kind, unselfish, sports-loving man. A true “Nomad”, Wayne would do anything for anyone, at any time, only payment was a cold Lucky. His favourite pass time was to sit on a beach with a good book and the Sun to comfort him.
Wayne’s family and friends would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses, and staff in both Royal Jubilee, and Comox Valley Hospital, for their kind, and compassionate care during Wayne’s battle.
Wayne has requested to not have a service, and for people to donate to a charity of their choice, raise a can of lucky, and cheer for the Jays and the “Damn Canucks”!!!
