Carolyn was born November 3, 1938, at the family farm in Sabula, Pennsylvania to Hiram and Dora (Shoemaker) Bundy, Sr. Carolyn worked in the medical field. She was an adoring mother, grandma and GiGi. She dearly loved and enjoyed her family, traveling, cooking and serving her church with her gift of hospitality and love for the Lord. Carolyn is survived by daughter Amy (Ronnie) Schafer of Canadian; daughter-in-law Stephanie Bibler of Indiana; seven grandchildren: Chelsea (Sean) McCloskey, Megan (Treston) Fisher, Jacob, Hannah, Grace, Cashton and Tessa Bibler; four great-grandchildren: Maeve and Beau McCloskey, and Nellie Jo and Hazel Fisher. She also leaves behind sisters Lois Garthwaite and Elda Jones; brothers Emil Bundy and Hiram Jr. Bundy; and many nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her husband Tom Lauer; sons Scott and Chad Bibler; her parents; sisters Cleo Saldutte, Jean Christian, Dora Mae Dodd and Donna Hallstrom; and brothers Kenneth Bundy and Lyle Bundy. Her funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 16, at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home in Fort Wayne, Indiana, with a private burial following at Mentone Cemetery IOOF. Carolyn Lee (Bundy) Bibler Lauer, 85, formerly of Fort Wayne, Indiana, went to her heavenly home on January 10, 2024, in Canadian, Texas. Carolyn was born November 3, 1938, at the family farm in Sabula, Pennsylvania to Hiram and Dora (Shoemaker) Bundy, Sr.
