Lizabeth Ann Fuson was born August 11, 1967, in Shattuck, OK to Chalk and Kathy Fuson. She attended Canadian ISD and graduated with the class of 1985. Liz worked for many years as an Administrative Assistant and Office Manager. She especially enjoyed working with and for Mike Richardson at Richardson Seed & Feed in Perryton. Liz enjoyed dancing, crocheting, puzzles, rodeos, and horses. She was an artist who painted with oils and watercolors. Liz loved afternoons of “porch sittin” with her dog Tripp and those she cared about. She was very involved with community charity work such as Snack Pak for Kids. She also enjoyed her time helping with the Live Like Linda Scholarship Golf Tournament and Canadian River Beach Club Calf fry. Lizabeth was an independent woman who loved others with all her heart! She was preceded in death by her parents, Chalk and Kathy Fuson; sister, Robin Lynn Fuson; and friend, Terry South. Those left to share Lizabeth’s memory are her sister, Leslie Fuson Williams; special friends, Ben, Amie, Owen, and Walker Riverman; Brian “G” Gallagher, uncles, aunts, other family members, as well as a close group of friends. Memorials may be to Snack Pak for Kids, 2406 SW 3rd Ave, Amarillo, TX 79106, designate: Canadian SP4K; or Hemphill County Hospice, 1020 S. 4th, Canadian, TX 79014. Visitation will be June 7, 2024, at 6 pm on Liz’s porch. Graveside services will be 11 am, Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery in Canadian with Pastor Donald Hill officiating.
