Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of CanadianVirgina Inez Burden was born August 21, 1957, in Artesia, New Mexico to Elmer and Carole Burden. She grew up in Mclean and graduated from Clarendon High School. Virgina was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pampa. She participated in the Special Olympics. Virgina especially enjoyed bowling and was a pretty good bowler. She worked in the fast-food industry and was known in the family to be an excellent cook. Her fried chicken was a family favorite. Virgina also enjoyed playing cards, especially Skip Bo.Virgina was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Lewis; grandparents, Haskell and Inez Smith; parents, Elmer and Carole Burden; niece, Jennifer Pasco; and a great nephew, Phillip Buhler.Those left to cherish Virgina’s memory are sister, Kerry Titus and husband John; brother, Phillip Burden and wife Melynda; nieces, Christina Upton, Brandy Rivers and husband John; and Heather Sims.
