Bobbie Coffee, 78, of Canadian, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025, in Canadian.

Memorial services will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at First Methodist Church of Canadian with Rev. Lewis Holland, retired minister, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.

Bobbie was born November 27, 1946 in Miles City, Montana, to Robert “Bob” and Grace Stoebe. She graduated from Custer County High School in Miles City and later went on to earn her bachelor's degree in education from West Texas State University in Canyon.

On June 4, 1966, she married Harold “Hack” Coffee in Miles City, Montana. They celebrated almost 58 years before he passed away on April 1, 2024. They lived in several places including East Texas, California, and Virginia as Hack was deployed in the Marines. In 1987, they moved their family to Canadian. Bobbie worked as a teacher at Baker Elementary for several years, and was a devoted mother to her three children.

Bobbie and Hack also lived in Buffalo, Wyoming, in the summers and would go south to Canadian for the winters. While in Buffalo, they were members of the First United Methodist Church where Bobbie was active and made lifelong friendships. She was also a longtime member of the Canadian Methodist Church. Bobbie also spent time volunteering at the River Valley Pioneer Museum in Canadian. She loved riding horses and was a cowgirl at heart. Bobbie enjoyed trail rides, long rides on the ranch, and helping work cattle with Hack. She always said she felt closest to heaven on the back of a horse.

Bobbie loved to travel and has been all across the US and had international adventures in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Peru. She was always outgoing and never knew a stranger. Bobbie treasured family gatherings and was the “go to person” in the family for family tree information. Her family was important to her, and she will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Sandy and Danny Stoebe; and daughter, Katy Coffee.

Survivors include her son, Cameron Coffee and wife Cara of Portland, Oregon, and their children Quinn and Sasha; her son Jim Coffee of Austin; brother Robin Stoebe and wife Leslie of Billings, Montana; sister-in-law Cindy Wheeler and husband Ben of Miami; brother-in-law Charles Coffee and wife Rolanda of Canadian.

Memorials can be sent to Hemphill County Library in Canadian, Texas or a charity of your choice.
