She was a part of Crawford County’s Extension Program; a long-standing member of GFWC in Van Buren, a past Woman of the Year and a fantastic volunteer. She was a loving soul, who loved to bake and do crafts. She was retired from the State of Texas as a caseworker and was a member of the First Methodist Church in Fort Smith. She was preceded in death by two sisters Lala Aguilar and Hortensia Aguilar Strickland; two brothers Raul and Robert Aguilar.Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday January 11, 2025 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.Family will visit with relatives and friends on Friday, January 10, from 5-7 pm at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson Street Van Buren.She is survived by two nephews David Strickland and wife Delynne of Canadian, and Robert Wayne Strickland and wife Paula of Robinson; three great-nieces: Cassie Davis of Fort Smith, Jennifer Wheelen of Victoria, and Christie Strickland of Waco; one great-great niece, Gayle Perez of Waco; two great-great nephews, Connor Wheelen of Victoria, and Atticus Davis of Van Buren. Lillie O Aguilar, 84 of Van Buren passed away peacefully Sunday, January 5, 2025 in her home. She was a part of Crawford County’s Extension Program; a long-standing member of GFWC in Van Buren, a past Woman of the Year and a fantastic volunteer. She was a loving soul, who loved to bake and do crafts. She was retired from the State of Texas as a caseworker and was a member of the First Methodist Church in Fort Smith. She was preceded in death by two sisters Lala Aguilar and Hortensia Aguilar Strickland; two brothers Raul and Robert Aguilar.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday January 11, 2025 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
