A private burial will be held in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.Dianne Cockrell was born to Bobby Gene “Pig” and Audrey Lee Miller Cockrell on June 15, 1953, in Canadian. She attended Canadian Schools. Dianne married Billy Lee Zenor Jr. on July 3, 2005. “She wanted everyone to be as happy as she was,” per Billy. Dianne loved animals and helping others. Following their own devastating loss during the wildfires in February 2024, Dianne generously gave much of what they received to those who needed it more than she. Dianne loved her kids; family meant the world to her! Although she hated technology, she talked to family and friends constantly. Texting wasn’t a favorite, but she learned to use it. Dianne was a generous fun-loving woman, and a devoted Christian and member of the River Ministry Church.Dianne was preceded by her parents, Pig and Audrey Cockrell; brother, Bobby Cockrell; nephew, Tony Cockrell; and close friend, Mary Waterfield.Those left to share Dianne’s memory are husband, Billy Zenor of Canadian; children, Melissa D. Coin of Denton, Aaron Callen and wife Brooke of Ft. Worth, Cassie Unger of Amarillo, Trey Zenor and wife Kristi of Canadian, Rick Zenor and wife Amber of Yukon, OK, Kevin Zenor of Dripping Springs, Aaron McCormick-Zenor and husband Cliff of Amarillo; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Darrell Cockrell of Canadian; nieces, nephews and other loved family and friends.Memorials may be made in memory of Dianne Zenor to the River Ministries, 221 Main St., Canadian, TX 79014.
