She was born on November 3, 1967, in Chihuahua, Mexico, Herminia was the beloved daughter of Abel Hernandez and Rosa Silva Hernandez.Herminia 's journey brought her to Perryton, Texas, where she graduated from Perryton High School and built a life of love and devotion. On September 12, 1987, she married, Jose Antonio Medina.For 23 years, Herminia worked as a dedicated head bank teller at First Bank Southwest, where her kindness and commitment touched the lives of many. Outside of work, Herminia was known for her love of shopping and her meticulous planning skills, always ensuring that every detail was perfectly organized in her Happy PlannerHer greatest passion, however, was her faith. A devoted member of her church, Herminia 's deep love for the Lord guided her every day. She found immense joy in spending time with her family, especially her cherished grandchildren, whom she adored with all her heart.A woman of unwavering faith, boundless love, and remarkable spirit, Herminia will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love and devotion will continue to inspire and comfort those she leaves behind.Herminia is survived by her husband, Jose Medina of Perryton; son, Jonathan Medina and wife, Maricela of McKinney; son, Steven Medina and wife, Stephanie of Canadian; son, Joseph Medina and wife, Elly of Perryton; grandchildren, Tate Medina, Braelei Medina, Eliana Medina, Jocelyn Medina, Silas Medina; Josiah Medina, Chantel Medina, and CJ Medina; oldest brother, Abel Hernandez and wife, Rosy of McKinney; brother, Sam Hernandez of Waxahachie; sister, Maria Sanchez and husband, Hector of Canadian; sister, Anna Hernandez, of Canadian; brother, Billy Hernandez and wife, Abby, also of Canadian; and a host of other loving family members and friends.A funeral service will be held at 10 am, Friday, August 9, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The service will also be livestreamed at TJMfuneral.com on Herminia’s obituary page by clicking on the following link: https://celebrationoflife.tv/.  After the service, the recorded live stream will be available for viewing at the same link location.  Following the service, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park for a committal service.The family will receive friends during a visitation on Thursday evening from 6 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home. Herminia Medina, cherished wife, mother, Mimi, sister, and friend, passed away on August 5, 2024, at the age of 56. She was born on November 3, 1967, in Chihuahua, Mexico, Herminia was the beloved daughter of Abel Hernandez and Rosa Silva Hernandez.

Herminia 's journey brought her to Perryton, Texas, where she graduated from Perryton High School and built a life of love and devotion. On September 12, 1987, she married, Jose Antonio Medina.
