In loving memory ~
Survived by his wife Linda, daughters Morgan (Kyle) and Bristine, his three grandsons, Colt, Easton and Jace, his Mom Shirley (Earle), brother Rick (Leonette), and his sister Robyn.
He was an avid athlete, and when he was younger, many weekends were spent at the ball field, ice rink or on the soccer pitch. It’s debatable which one he liked watching more, the Habs, the Blue Jays, the Dallas Cowboys or NASCAR, but we always knew one of those would be on the TV.
In his retirement, his hobbies consisted of painting gorgeous pictures of landscapes and making amazing knives. He also enjoyed cooking, but hated the question that always came before it “What’s for dinner?”. He checked off a bucket list item last year when he reeled in a huge mahi mahi off the coast of Costa Rica.
Bruce never met a stranger, and we often joked that he could make friends with a stick. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, first on the dance floor, the life of the party, and had the best one-liners.
“Hey, I’m Bruce, but you can call me Gibby!”
No service per his request.
