In loving memory ~
It is with heavy hearts we announce that Claude “Spike” Parnell has passed on to the next adventure in his spiritual journey.
He leaves behind his very much loved wife Betty, their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Our lives were enriched with his love and kindness, his wisdom and guidance and his ability to tell a really good story about his life antics. He took great pride in his lifelong career on the waterfront, where he made many friends and fishing buddies. Fishing was his passion, whether it be on the ocean or thigh-high in a river casting at dawn in the rain.
Another one of his favourite pastimes was snoozing on his patio overlooking his perfectly manicured lawn. He was a lover of nature and all animals, especially his many spoiled pet companions that have claimed and loved him over the years.
We will miss his friendship, his humour and his wonderful stories. His spirit and his love will forever walk beside us
