It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Dwight David Ziegemann on Wednesday, November 29, 2023.
Born in Edmonton, Alberta on February 11, 1947, Dwight was raised in Port Alberni where he returned in his senior years after spending most of his adult life in Vancouver.
Dwight was an extra special uncle to his nephew and niece, Michael (Jamie) and Kirsten (Henry) and great-niece, Jenica (Andrew) whom he leaves to mourn, as well as extended family and friends.
Dwight was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Veronica Ziegemann, and his sister Viola Ward.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Holy Family Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church. Interment to follow at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Westhaven for their care of Dwight.
