Richard (Dick) Stuart

April 5, 1937 – June 12, 2023
In loving memory ~
It is with profound sadness that we say goodbye to Dick, loving husband of Hanna for 64 years. Dick died peacefully with Hanna by his side.
He was father of Shareen (Paul), Richard (Leah, Jenna and Josh) and Robert (Kim), and grandfather of Taisto. He was loved and will be missed by his siblings Carmen, Joanna, John and Marius, their spouses, and numerous nieces and nephews. Dick had many friends locally and around the world and phone calls and visits from him will be also be missed.
Dick lead an adventurous life. He lived on 3 different continents, travelled the world and in the end settled in the Comox Valley which he called his Little Piece of Heaven. Dick was a musician, an artist, an avid golfer and a storyteller. He volunteered many hours and was always concerned and looking out for people who were less privileged than he was.
His family would like to sincerely thank all the staff at the Comox Valley Hospice for their wonderful care, and ask that any donations in his memory be sent their way.
