Irene (Dame) Harley

In loving memory ~
Irene (Dame) Harley a resident of Comox Valley Senior’s Village passed away suddenly on June 14, 2023. She is survived by her daughter Bev Sweet, grandson Adam (Katherine) Sweet, their son Jack, granddaughter Brianna (Brandon) Rosenthal and sons Henry & William, son Frank (Denise) Dame and his son Dylan, step-son Robert (Linda) Harley, step-daughter Kim (Jeremy) Grundy and their families.
Irene was a school teacher in Nova Scotia for over 35 years moving to BC to enjoy retirement. Predeceasing Irene was Bev & Frank’s father, Reg Dame and her second husband Lorne (Buck) Harley and her son-in-law Paul Sweet and 7 siblings.
Following cremation, private internment will take place at St. Andrew’s cemetery, Courtney. Donations in her memory may be made to St. John the Baptist Anglican Church in Irene’s home village of River John, NS where they are fund-raising for a new roof.
